More: Threadbare
Keep the story going. Step into the first open source game-making community built for learners!

More: Threadbare - Boost Game Skills in 12 Sessions
More: Threadbare is a 12-session learning experience, with each session lasting about one hour. It is designed for learners ages 15 and up who have completed Core: Threadbare or already know their way around Godot and GitHub but want to level up.
Learners step into the open source community of Threadbare, building autonomy while contributing directly to the game. They choose their path, from small bug fixes and simple visual assets to bigger challenges like developing a character from concept art to animation and integration. The program is organized into four milestones that guide learners from orientation to reflection, ensuring steady progress with plenty of room for creativity and growth.

Why More: Threadbare Matters
While Explore sparks creativity and Core builds studio skills, all three programs contribute to the game. More: Threadbare is the stage where learners practice independence and join the ongoing open source development of Threadbare.
Learners may:
- Work on official backlog items or bug fixes
- Extend the narrative through new StoryQuests or LoreQuests
- Create new art, systems, or mechanics in Godot
- Collaborate through GitHub boards, workflows, and peer review
Every contribution, large or small, is reviewed through open source processes with input from peers, mentors, and maintainers. This is not just practice, it is participation in a living, evolving game.
